OVERVIEW

Have you dreamt of becoming a pilot? Make it a reality! The private pilot certificate is a lifetime accomplishment that qualifies you to fly an airplane with or without passengers, day or night, in good weather. This certificate never expires, providing you complete a flight review every 24 months. You must be at least 17 years old and possess a current FAA medical certificate.

PRIVATE PILOT

INSTRUMENT

OVERVIEW

The instrument rating allows you to fly in instrument conditions (clouds) and increases the flexibility of the airplane as a source of transportation. Instead of flying by reference to the horizon, the airplane’s instruments are used to fly the airplane and navigate to the destination.

COMMERCIAL

OVERVIEW

The commercial pilot certificate allows a pilot to receive pay when flying in specific situations such as flight instruction, banner towing, aerial photography, and charter company or airline employment. It, too, never expires, providing you complete a flight review every 24 months. You must be at least 18 years old and possess a current FAA medical certificate.

  • TAA (Technically Advanced Aircraft) time

  • Advanced ground reference maneuvers

  • Advanced takeoffs and landings

  • Advanced flight maneuvers

  • Extended cross-county flying

  • Review for the FAA written test

OVERVIEW

The multi-engine rating can be added on to a private or commercial certificate. The multi-engine rating certifies the pilot to operate twin-engine aircraft. Whether your goal is to fly professionally or recreationally, the multi-engine rating is the next step to improving your piloting skills.

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

OVERVIEW

The flight instructor certificate allows the pilot to teach the art of flying to aspiring private and commercial pilots. It requires considerable knowledge and the ability to properly teach technical subjects.

  • Review for the two FAA written tests

  • Review for the FAA checkride

INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTOR

OVERVIEW

The instrument flight instructor rating allows the pilot to teach the art of instrument flying to aspiring instrument pilots. It, too, requires considerable knowledge and the ability to properly teach a subject and fulfill the responsibilities of this important position.

MULTI-ENGINE INSTRUCTOR

OVERVIEW

The multi-engine instructor rating can be added on to either an existing CFI certificate or done as an initial instructor rating. Because of FLT Academy’s technologically advanced aircraft (TAA) we train MEIs after they have completed their CFI initial due to efficiency.

OVERVIEW

Ever dream of being a commercial pilot? You could be finished with your training and fly as a second in command for a Part 135 Operator in as little as 14 months!

How do the classes work?

All of your ground school is done digitally or in person. This is accomplished with state-of-the-art online live instruction. You will also have one on one instruction with your instructor during flight training.

What if I already have some ratings?

No matter what ratings you already have, you can join this program! The cost of the program will go down respectively.

How do I fit flight training into my schedule?

The accelerated commercial training has a minimum of 5 training sessions per week, 2-3 hours per day. This program is full-time and isn’t for everyone. We will tailor a program to fit your specific goals and needs.

How do I schedule the flights?

We have an online scheduling system that allows you to set your own schedule for the time that works best for you. We will find the instructor that works best for you and your schedule. We also have a team of dispatchers that will work with your schedule to make sure you get your training goals accomplished.

How much will all this cost?
